I have two jobs, one I am Director of FlatTVParts and I also own a small web design company, hence why I was well placed to get this up and running so quickly.

Oh boy...currently I am "retired" I have a veteran's disability pension and SSDI and I am rated by the US Veteran's Administration as 90% disabled and unemployable. I am working to change this, I am currently a volunteer research assistant for Keene State College's neurolab, specifically assisting with autism research...so someone on the spectrum helping do research on people on the spectrum, we need more of us for sure. I hold a degree in Cultural Anthropology and a Masters in Education, and though I am glad to have gotten those degrees, had I known then what I know now, I would have made a few different choices. As it stands now I consider myself a rogue scholar and bit of a polymath, I spend most of my time as an autodidact, so self teaching and learning. A few of my many background interests are neurology, psychology, sociology, economics, anthropology, philosophy and though I struggle with numbers I have a very good intuitive sense for physics and natural and earth sciences. I am a bit of an information sponge, and then as a logical intuitive thinker I look for the patterns in causation, ever careful to remind myself that just because I see a correlation, does not mean that is the truth, so I work hard to identify my cultural and intellectual biases, to triangulate my correlations to see if it is worthy of further investigation, and attempt to apply Occam's Razor when I am feeling overwhelmed my minutiae. I am hoping to get around to publishing in the future, but still have trouble deciding which project to start first, I have at least three solid book ideas in my head right now, and as usual I get bogged down in small details that make it very hard for me to move forward.
Tone Disclaimer: If you read something I write and feel I am trolling, please read it again and imagine instead you are talking to a teacher or professor. I do not write from a place of self-superiority or ego, I favor dialectical conversations that seek to find underlying causation and truth.

I'm a legal secretary, although at the current moment I'm not working. I'm moving down to England in the next couple of months (hopefully!) so trying to get everything organised at the minute for that. :)

I think Aphantasia is the reason I do what I do.

I'm a Designer/Illustrator and apart from the odd break and to travel, I've done it since I was 19 right out of design college.
I think Aphantasia pushed me to create images to fill a gap that I wasn't aware of at the time.
I actually mention it in my bio although I use the old name "aniconia" which reminds me that I need to update it.

I freelance these days as I found out that I was the "i" in "team" and I don't suffer bosses very well.

I love making visual things. I love stickers and text apps that add stickers to photos. I can relate to what you have said. :)

You're luck Nathan as it was horrific at the time although having having no visual recall I couldn't give a stuff about it now.

Mining engineer ??? Is that like a muff diver?

Seriously, I was an engineer for most of my life , then moved into software design for manufacturing, then into cre of the elderly (that was a real career change). Now retired, but still maintain engineering connections in my hobbies.

My day job is making sure my dogs have a comfortable life. I am retired, in other words. I am an avid mountainbiker, and have surfed for over 50 years, off and on. At this stage of my retirement (6 yrs ago from aerospace industry), l am finding myself more and more curious and motivated to finding ways to outlive my retirement savings.

What that says about you, Kewley (at least to me), is that you love animals and, therefore, are fundamentally a very good person.

I'm retired, but had two jobs at once for the 17 years prior to retiring the last time. I was an alfalfa farmer and ran the irrigation district that supplied water to my farm and the seven other farms in our valley. I loved both jobs because they were so peaceful and I didn't have to answer to anyone but the tax man. While farming I had to work every day from sun up to sun down for the seven months my crops were growing. Running the irrigation district only required me to be available to regulate water flow on most days of irrigation season and I worked one day per month for the other five months to preform safety inspections on the dams impounding our five reservoirs. That left me a lot of time to travel, which I enjoy immensely.

I didn't have to deal with many humans, but when doing my monthly dam safety inspections I had to carry a rifle because of those pesky mountain lions, rattle snakes and bears. I never had to even fire a warning shot, much lest destroy an animal.
The reports of my death have been greatly exaggerated.

My full time unpaid job is a Carer for my son Matthew 35 who has Lennox Gastaut syndrome. I employ 2 PAs to help me with him but do most of the caring myself. I am also a trustee/director of a charity www.thomley.org.uk which I helped to found in 2012. I also don't get paid as a trustee/director.
