Just wondering if anyone knows the differences between aphantasia and lack of episodic memory?

Episodic memory refers to your memories about events or activities you did in your life. These are personal memories such as how you spent your last holidays, what you had for breakfast this morning, etc. You do not need to visualize these past events in order to remember them.

Inability to remember these things is a deficit in episodic memory, inability to visually imagine these past events is aphantasia. I think several people with aphantasia say that they have a bad episodic memory which may be related to the fact that we cannot visually imagine past events. However, this is not been objectively tested and may or may not be true.
